If you look for who benefited the most from the breakdown of security, you have to target Pelosi and McConnell. Pelosi got her excuse for impeachment and solidified her control of the democrat caucus while McConnell stopped the growing number of senators who were defying him by joining the House republicans in protesting electoral votes. Pelosi's computers were taken, but what was taken from McConnell's office? I doubt if either of them is sleeping well.
