I saw cloudflare briefly flash that it was rate limiting the site.

My hypothesis - because mainstream media censors everything - the entire world is hammering those sites trying to stay informed. It's Civil War Eve in the USA, the whole world is watching, the consequences are real.

Probably a desperate DDOS as well.
