Where ever I've been around the world, people I got to know are pretty much the same. Generally friendly, family oriented, like to laugh, love to eat, like making new friends from America. People who decide whether they like someone based solely on skin color irregardless of the persons character confound me. They either grew up with generational bias, had bad racial experiences earlier in life, or are blaming whitey for the unfulfilling life they lead. Hate never does its owner any favors. I'm in about the whitest state in the nation, low crime rate, streets are very safe, low population density. If I were transported to crime ridden Chicago or Baltimore for a year, maybe I too would feel differently. I've worked with many different ethnicities, never had an issue and always had good professional relationships. All of these people were of good character.
