I remember seeing it when it originally aired. I'm pretty sure that is where they got the inspiration for the Borg. Just made it darker and grittier.

I can't remember how old I was before I could stay up after 9PM. I remember wanting to watch the original Star Trek episodes in the '60s but it started at 9PM and that was after my 8PM bedtime at the time.

I was 7 when it first aired but, as long as I didn't give her a hard time about getting up for school, my mom used to let me stay up so I could see some good shows on our brand new Magnavox color tv!
