January 1st, Secretary Pompeo tweeted that his New Year’s Resolution was to give the American people the full story about President Trump’s administration’s foreign policy. He left a hook to increase people’s interests by saying: “You may not read it elsewhere.” Pompeo’s first tweet says, “We’re so much safer today than four years ago. Over the coming days, I’m going to lay out the mission set, the huge wins, personal stories, and a lot more. Just me, Mike”. Let’s see what type of “Tweetstorm” Pompeo created. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who does not seem to be very supportive of President Trump's efforts to defend the election, joined several other Republicans in a conference call on the afternoon of December 31st. The purpose of the call was to pressure Senator Josh Hawley not to participate in the challenge on January 6th. According to the latest reports, the Republican Party has at least 140 people in the House of Representatives that are willing to stand up to challenge the Congress on January 6th. On December 31st, President Trump delivered his New Year's speech to the nation, recounting his achievements and ending with the remark: “ the best is yet to come.” Like Pompeo, President Trump appeared to be very confident
