Just a heads-up FYI, from the user guide:
At Poal, we believe the down vote is not a "I disagree button".
We'd rather engage in a counter argument with the post/comment we disagree with, and use down votes for spam (you can report to admins) and off topic trolls.
From threads I've read, they're kind of sticklers about this. They have an algorithm that'll flag you if you downvote a lot of stuff that isn't spam or OTTs.

No problem, just didn't want to see you get flagged. Takes time to acclimate to the differences, but it's not bad. I think it's more like voat than not (in more ways than one). I'm just happy we have this place.
