Antifa, BLM, Dems, all laud the benefits of socialism, a short hop to communism. Cuba is the reality of a controlled central government that has little real interest in serving the people. Socialism has not worked in any country in the world. And don't hold up Denmark, or other Scandinavian countries who are not really socialist but solidly capitalist. Ultimately "socialist" countries such as Venezuela are run by oligarchs who rule to line their own pockets. Not that that compares at all to Biden....? Let me just say--even if it takes a war--I don't plan on eating rodents for dinner any time soon.

Actually, guinea pigs are considered a delicacy in many countries. I looked into this a while back. They are tasty, easy to raise, don't eat much, quiet and reproduce rapidly. Many preppers/homesteaders are raising them for a protein source. There is a certain type tho that you need to get for a food source (don't remember now)...not the type that you buy for a pet.

That said...yup, bugs and rat meat for us peasants.

Interesting facts. Thank you for sharing. I will no longer be a guinea pig snob--protein is protein, especially when other sources are lacking. Did not know the peppers are raising them as food...we used to raise rabbits and my guess is that they taste similar.

Lots of videos and info on line re: raising them. Some state that they taste better than rabbits.

Cuba is agriculturally self-sufficient and GMO free. The hyperprocessed foods we eat are a lot worse.

Totally agree on that point...I eat only grass fed beef and organic (i'm blessed to be able to buy quality food), but you can bet that if the Dems get i they will make it more difficult to grow cattle (even free range, grass fed cattle) in this country. They are already promoting all this fake meat shit.

They already say farting cows cause global warming. Lots of cattle has been culled because of supply chain disruptions, the price of beef has skyrocketed.
