Article 2 section 4 clause 1 of Michigan's Constitution says "Qualified Electors have a right to vote a secret ballot in all elections. "
Well when the 12th Amendment Electors met to vote in Lansing; the secretary of state and or governor looked at the Electors' ballots to ensure they voted as State binding law says they have vote.
You read that correctly. The state has a law that directly violates what its own Constitution says, let alone the federal Constitution. Does your state Constitution have similar language? Did your state officials violate similar clauses? Happy hunting and Merry Christmas.
