Years ago when I was frequenting a couple of local bars, I decided to try an experiment: I purposefully dumbed down my personality to see what those around me would do.

I made a LOT of friends - far more than I would 'normally'. Seemed like everyone liked me. And this was after several months of frequenting the bars without changing my personality.

I talked the sportsball, and the beer, and made ridiculous comments about the females. And whatever one of the bar denizens was up to talk about, I was right there with them.

And I found out a couple of things. First, when I decided to end the experiment, things more or less went back to how they were before. These 'friends' I had made didn't stick. And second, doing this was EXHAUSTING. It was literally serious effort to make myself dumb.

So the conclusion? Yes, some (maybe most) people are capable of really communicating only with people within a certain range of their own IQs. But it's not really worth dumbing yourself down for people. Maybe, if you're on the lower IQ end of the room, working on raising yourself up to another level would be beneficial - but not the other way around.

Can you only talk to people within X IQ of your own?

Anyone can talk to anyone, it's whether or not both parties have sufficient IQs to benefit from the conversation.

I've spoken to low IQs of all colors. The White ones, idk what went wrong, I'm just going to point out, the White ones faired much better than the others.

Different shades of browns, they're primitively stupid. They're dumb at the DNA level. They can't understand basic social concepts, can't take, give or read and understand instructions. They have different core values, get drunk and high, as opposed to getting meaningful work to benefit their lives and possibly society. Getting laid, as opposed to spending the resources to find a good mate and produce intelligent children. Steal, as opposed to give back in more charitable ways.

Niggers (all non Whites) are a plague on White society. Whites are being taxed to death (literally) to support niggers in all countries now. We're living in the end times of this being sustainable for multiple reasons. Something will give and there will be an outcome. Either Whites go completely extinct, our blood forever muddied, or we take lands for ourselves and make a White society of our own.

It is patently untrue that people who are distant in intelligence cannot talk meaningfully together. This kind of communication occurs all the time. For instance, when leading politicians talk to voters, psychiatrists talk to their patients, judges talk to juries, police investigators talk to witnesses and suspects.

The author of this article is a moron. I do mean that quite literally. An intelligent person would understand the difference in structure between an argument (premise-evidence-conclusion) and an assertion (no evidence).

Citing prison guards talking to prisoners as an example of "meaningful communication" is akin to describing me talking to my dog as "meaningful communication". The furry little mouthbreather barely understands simple commands.

As for the example of politicians communicating with voters, anyone who has ever worked on campaign strategy, communications, marketing, etc knows how absurd this is. Most voters are barely literate glue eaters. You have to take great pains to remove reason, evidence, law, and words beyond a third grade level to communicate with them. You can't engage in meaningful communication with them because meaningful communication requires honesty. Honesty with voters is political suicide because then you'd hurt their feelings by pointing out how broke their government is, how immoral they are, and how much they'll have to suffer to improve their government.

The much referenced Jensen is entirely correct - you can't have a meaningful relationship with someone much beyond +-15-20 points. You'll have nothing in common. Imagine trying to explain a a common high IQ issue such as tax shelters to a retard who's :shockedpikachu: his car was repossessed for nonpayment. You also dont have remotely the same cultural context or education level. I can casually reference something like Macedonia being pronounced with a "k" sound, not an "s" as an example of linguistic drift, and peers will grasp it because they have at least a passing familiarity with Latin or Greek. Try having a conversation like that with an IQ 80 mouthbreather. They think Macedonia is some type of nut.

If you think you are very, very smart, and can't relate to others, and think everybody is too stupid to talk to, the problem doesn't have much to do with intelligence, but with your other issues.

I don't think IQ and intelligence are exactly the same. Many people with high IQs are retards. Their severe retardation just does not show up on an IQ test. The high IQ people who commonly fall for leftism/communism/race-denialism are not intelligent they are dumb.
