It's better than it should be (first movie, the rest are kind of meh).

There is a TON of propaganda in it that is pro degen though. That's annoying.

A bunch of the first movie's scenes were filmed in Hells Half Acre Wyoming. Worth a trip if you are near by but not something to plan to go see specifically unless you like stuff like that.

If you are talking about the shower scene, I would argue

A) They should show tits in R-rated movies

and

B) It was oddly prescient of the 2014-2024 locker room gender faggotry

Well. The one thing I would say is that they didn't push any gay/tranny shit. I didn't like the co-ed shower stuff but it could have been worse.

At least the co-ed stuff was straight and pro-straight. (Normal). Still not great but.. Yeah.

I half agree with you.

It was gratuitous and I wish young Theo hadn't seen it, but it happened.

At the same time, I do see it as kind of brilliant, in a way, exposing the absurdity of the idea that there is no meaningful difference between the sexes and that women can be soldiers and should be allowed to shower with men.

It takes a ridiculous idea to it's logical conclusion, and I love it for that.

But the movie has nothing to do with the book.

Apparently the script was already written and some producer realized they had the Heinlein IP lying around and decided to attach that name to the project and do a slight rewrite.
