To Kill a Mockingbird

I read it in 7th grade and don't remember much about it. From what I've heard recently it's some pro-nigger propaganda that's supposed to support being a good little non-racist.

>"Do you defend niggers, Atticus?" I asked him that evening. "Of course I do. Don't say nigger, Scout. That's common." "'s what everybody at school says." "From now on it'll be everybody less one--" "Well if you don't want me to grow up talkin' that way, why do you send me to school?"

Touche, check and mate.

Perhaps it influenced some feeble-minded pupils, but for me I had already been around niggers and rejected the anti-racism propaganda based on knowing what niggers are like.
