My theory is that they are trying to rub in our faces how absolutely retarded the brainwashed drones are. It's a way of saying "We know you know what's going on, but look how entranced everyone else is."
My guess would be that the photo is staged for some other purpose entirely. Stock footage. Movie maybe. Then you know how the Social media/forums -> news cycle goes. A "reporter" just sees it somewhere on the Internet, labeled incorrectly and passes on that label.
Yeah, but that doesn’t really answer the question. They can’t find some guns? They’re faking a picture to influence world politics but they can’t find some fucking guns?
I don't think the picture was intended as fake. I think someone took a picture of them using fake guns, for whatever reason, not for the news. Then someone either assumed or intentionally falsely claimed that it is real. Of course, I don't know. Someone else in the thread said it was a training picture.
