if it gives enough content to justify the 2 hours i would say it is worth it, the majority just simply isnt worth it though. i would say a 2hr hello world while being useful and not marketing BS is like a unicorn approaching a male

is like a unicorn approaching a male

What about gay unicorns?

"If it takes more than 5 minutes to create a simple "hello world" app, your hot tech is dead to me."

It's a sentiment I share and it's mostly true when it comes to personal use

For professional use, you have a couple of other parameters coming into play, it's a different deal

The "more than 5 minutes" part can be a "barrier to entry" for most people, and it can turn out to be an hedge on the market, since you won't have that many people capable to handle the said tech... Scarcity...

Now that scarcity, only has value if the said tech is also widely used in the professional/business world

If yes, then it can be worth the hassle to learn it, precisely because there's a massive demand AND a (relative) shortage of people capable to provide/handle it
