What fresh bullshit is this? Whatever. Discord is trash anyway.

From the post:

>Discord announced on Monday that it’s rolling out age verification on its platform globally starting next month, when it will automatically set all users’ accounts to a “teen-appropriate” experience unless they demonstrate that they’re adults. Users who aren’t verified as adults will not be able to access age-restricted servers and channels, won’t be able to speak in Discord’s livestream-like “stage” channels, and will see content filters for any content Discord detects as graphic or sensitive. They will also get warning prompts for friend requests from potentially unfamiliar users, and DMs from unfamiliar users will be automatically filtered into a separate inbox.

Unfortunately so many companies these days have moved their support forums to discord because they're lazy and think it'll be easier for the user. Well not me. I'm not giving discord a fucking selfie just ask some cut rate company why my shit doesn't work.

This is discord burning themselves down. People will move to other platforms like usual. They will only keep the worst of the people that use it and will probably sell to someone in a year or two then be entirely out of business in about 4-5 years. It's typical.

Those with ownership already know it and are trying to cash out quick.
