So many issues here. Bowling Green is short on both housing and workers. WTF are people doing then? The whole resettlement thing seems like a scam to take taxpayer money. Then, they can get a job at a chicken plant. So some megacorp doesn't have to pay a living wage to an American.

Americans do hard and hot work every day. Just not for Starbucks wages. Some people gotta pay rent.

The article says the refugee resettlement has won over local residents. Then, the local who gives an approving quote is described as a 'factory owner.' He obviously has an economic incentive to like the policy, but I wonder what the American citizens working in the factory have to say. And what effect the influx of new Dem voters has had on entry-level wages.
