Those who can do. Those who can't become politicians.
Politics is Hollywood for ugly people
Weirdly echoed by Ted Cruz, with his comment that he liked acting, but realized he didn't have the chops to become a professional actor, so he instead became a lawyer and politician.
That phony is a "bad actor" in more ways than one.
It is a long standing tradition that court attorneys are all failed actors. Politics would improve greatly if lawyers were banned from running.
Sounds like a good idea to me, if the common man wrote the law then it would make sense and be easily understood. Lawyers seem incapable of making laws like that.
And we wouldn't need an army of 20-something leftist staffers for each congressman writing the bills to ensure that every lobbyist gets his money's worth in there. The power of these staffers reminds me of when "Mrs." 0bama pushed for school lunches, or when (((Jared Kushner))) rewrote one of Trump's executive orders, as they are exercising power of an elected without having been themselves elected to it.
