But statistically speaking, gays do have a higher IQ than the mean population. The causal relation between IQ and homosexuality is, well, idk.

When you look at it in the grand scheme, it’s clear that homosexuality is a severe detriment from a viewpoint of generational longevity.

Maybe it's just that high IQ people are more willing to break the rules? So it's not that there's more high IQ gays, it's that high-IQ gays are more likely to be open about it.

Hmm, that’s a possible explanation. But to be frank, it really does not matter. Intelligence is damn important, but it’s not the end-all-be-all.

While high IQ has a high correlation with success, the only high IQ people that have success have a stack of skills attached to the intelligence quotient.

You need ego, vision, clear thinking and a whole bunch of other things to really succeed.

Otherwise high IQ is just a specialization much like being tall is a specialization or being fast, mechanically intelligent or a brutal killer during war.

It means something, but not as much as people think.
