Of course no one's going to actually pass that law, but that would absolutely be the solution to the deficit.
Term limits could do a lot of good. Kind of the same deal. What you need is a constitutional convention. Probably the example to use would be the ERA, even though that didn't pass as it got close.

The problem there is who runs the Constitutional Convention?
Folks like (((Mark Levin))) assert that it would be the state legislatures, but those are horribly jewed and by law cannot accurately represent the people of a state, so in that case the Constitutional Convention would turn out to be just like throwing Br'er Rabbit into the briar patch.
