China, partially. The ruling communist society could be considered a civic nation with the regular people as their non-citizen serfs.

Russia? Maybe. It's too ethnically diverse to be a true federation in my eyes. Maybe the ethnic Russian core are. Not sure.

Saudi Arabia... ok, good point I think they count.

China is an ethnostate just by virtue of them pushing the Han Chinese narrative. Whether it's biologically true or not that push for ethnic pride has lead to a population that is outright hostile to its enemies, yet willing to take abuse from it's government for the greater good of the collective.

I think there's a subtle distinction there. Communist regimes are often willing to exploit ethnic tensions in order to gain power, granting power to loyal ethnic groups and cleansing disloyal ones. That shouldn't be mistaken for loyalty to the preferred ethnic group though. Loyalty only goes one way in communism: Towards the leader. The leader is free to purge loyal groups if he considers it convenient.

I don't think the loyalty of the regime is the important part of this equation. If you have close to half a billion people who believe they are the same and share a collective fate, then they will act in their collective interest. The CCP just happens to be very good at conflating the party's interest with the people's. To the extent where they legitimately support the persecution of Uyghurs.

How boomerish and retarded does one actually have to be, to believe that modern day China is "communist" in anything but name?

I don't think the Russian sub-ethnicities are as uppity and gay as niggers, though. Everyone must be laughing their asses off at how the US chose niggers of all people to enslave and bring to their country by the millions.
