Socratic method pisses everyone off when it comes to Trump.
NPC: "Trump said to inject bleach!"
Me: "Holy shit that's retarded; did he actually say that?"
NPC: "Yea!"
"So what was the actual quote/context?"
[NPC looks it up, finds he did not, in fact say to inject lysol or bleach... queue madface]
They get mad at you because the media lied to them.
Same with this one - where exactly did Trump incite violence? I want to see the words, the exact quote. It doesn't exist.
"If what you heard was "inject bleach", then maybe you should."
Doesn't matter if he did or didn't. They have decided that Trump is literally Hitler and have brainwashed enough normies that it's true. You can show them everything to convince them that it isn't true but it won't matter. It's easier to fool folks than to convince folks that they have been fooled.

Had a fucking lefty post this to facebook... like, that sword cuts both ways - much closer to your way than you realize (though I guess that's the point of the saying).
Still the fact that they get mad at you for helping discover the truth is cultist-brainwashing type shit. We're in a bad way.
Yes. Indeed we are. They have a idealistic view of the world instead of seeing things for what they are. They trust the media to give them the truth and they cannot handle the possibility that the media is lying to them.
