Not at all, I totally agree. The system is fucked and we will never get everything we want but if we can't take even a "small win" then we get zero wins forever. I don't like it but it's not like I am running on my area and with the state I am in I would not.
Maybe after I move I will run for a local office. I have considered it for years.
If you can, I think that would be really good. I think that's something I should try and do if we ever get to move out of our garbage town.
Everyone here probably should. The system is fucked because "normal" people don't run. We allowed "politician" to become a job/career when it was intended to be something you did for your nation for service and a sacrifice. Not to get rich and make tax payers foot the bill for your fucking vacation.
