Not at all, I totally agree. The system is fucked and we will never get everything we want but if we can't take even a "small win" then we get zero wins forever. I don't like it but it's not like I am running on my area and with the state I am in I would not.
Maybe after I move I will run for a local office. I have considered it for years.
