Yeah, I used to have a job that usually took our crew anywhere from a few minutes to an hour to do what was expected of us in a day. The rest of the day was spent hiding out playing cards or reading a book. It was a big operation so there were lots of places to hide. We were sometimes discovered when order pullers would come get the product we were hiding behind. Our Lead Man and Foreman were kin to some of the higher ups running the place so we didn't have much to worry about...
