If you're in your car and someone tries to use force to take you out of it, there are a good number of states where you enjoy castle doctrine and are 100% in the right to fucking waste them.
That said I wish it were true even if you aren't in the car, e.g., they try to steal it out of your driveway. (It arguably is in Texas but it depends on the county whether the cops & DA will come after you for defending your car.)
