In February of 2022 I donated to the Canadian trucker fund on GiveSendGo. Shortly thereafter, as some of you might remember, GSG was hacked and account info was stolen.

As one does, I had used a unique mail address to increase the chance of finding out if it gets leaked and by whom.

There was an initial wave of crap that arrived on this burnt address until it tuckered out in August 2023. Then silence until mid December.

Now I get these "conservative" grifter mails once or twice a day, see below. Fuck these people in the face with a 2x4.

For those of you who care, freeandtrue.org has a DMARC record set, but they do not have a policy for rejection enabled.

They also either do not have or are not using the default selector for DKIM.

Do you use mxtoolbox.com for that kind of lookup? Command line tool?

mxtoolbox is a godsend for troubleshooting weird email problems. I can't believe the number of companies that don't have things set up properly and then whine about email delivery problems.
