This solves a lot of things. The government has to keep the receipt proving who you voted for. If they rig the election then you don’t have to pay.

It seriously promotes participation. And it promotes voting for low tax candidates.

Here's a better idea, get rid of government, the taxes go with it. It's better to remove the enemy trying to kill you than replacing one enemy with a different enemy.

You also need to replace a monetary system based on theft with one based on gold.
