I think that Jefferies will pull out the Speakership and then run roughshod over the dumb ass republicans and Rinos.

Not impossible, but unlikely. I think it's more likely for a Democrat who's made friends in the GOP to be proposed as a compromise candidate and slide in.

Tough to say. McCarthy is playing a conservative and allowing extra Democrats into committees would violate that. It'd probably also piss off Jeffries, where he'd be more amenable to another Democrat as Speaker if it could be swung.
