The other week the toddlers asked for pickle sandwiches out of nowhere, so I came up with this:
Diced pickles onions and tomatoes mixed with mayo and mustard.
Spread on toasted bread
Add thick slices of cheddar and some more pickle slices.
Close bread to create a sandwich.
To be honest it was pretty good, but it felt like it was missing something.
Hot sauce maybe, but the kids wouldn't want that.
Perhaps a cylindrical or disk shaped piece of animal.
