<level> * (<level> * 10) = <points required for level>

Level 1 (10 points): 1 * (1 * 10) = 1 * 10 = 10

Level 2 (40 points): 2 * (2 * 10) = 2 * 20 = 40

Level 3 (90 points): 3 * (3 * 10) = 3 * 30 = 90 (unconfirmed)

Level 4 (160 points): 4 * (4 * 10) = 4 * 40 = 160 (unconfirmed)

Level 5 (250 points): 5 * (5 * 10) = 5 * 50 = 250 (unconfirmed)

Level 6 (360 points): 6 * (6 *10) = 6 * 60 = 360

Level 20 (4000 points): 20 * (20 * 10) = 20 * 200 = 4000

And so on...

Not bad.

the exact code is:

xp = user.score

level = math.sqrt(xp / 10)
