I’m still trying to figure this one out for this particular style of site but it would be interesting for the sake of discussion, have some kind of ability to notify people that new comments have been added.

Maybe:

  1. Change the visited link back to active??

  2. Label thread with X new replies??

Like I said, still trying to figure this one out. I just think it would be cool because normal forum boards have this and going back helps build discussions and new comments you missed will stand out.

If you want to discuss these things its much more effective to do it on the matrix server, any matrix client will connect to the url and the web interface is there as well.
