I assumed it was, the text post pagewas fully displayed.
New datapoint. I just now successfully submitted the post. Created a link post with the same links/text as before, then switched to text post and POAL accepted it as a text post. Apparently my problem originates when selecting text post first and then filling the fields? If I create it as a link post, fill the fields, then switch over to text post, it works.
