I've had this happen a few times. I hit the leave page and it ends up posting. I've been copying my text just in case.
I'll try that the next time I text post.
Make sure the create text post page is fully loaded before pressing submit.

I assumed it was, the text post pagewas fully displayed.
New datapoint. I just now successfully submitted the post. Created a link post with the same links/text as before, then switched to text post and POAL accepted it as a text post. Apparently my problem originates when selecting text post first and then filling the fields? If I create it as a link post, fill the fields, then switch over to text post, it works.
Does the "Leave Site" warning happen when you select text post after filling the url field in a link post and click submit?
No, the leave page warning pops up after filling fields and then hitting [submit]
