Link me directly to your answer. You cant. The parent is the thread itself. Its a half assed solution from a half assed developer. Instead of just making a permalink function this half baked bullshit is pushed.

Notice the link is different from the last link I posted. It is a direct link to my reply with comments above / below shown as reference with the linked comment highlighted. Not sure what you want, but you do seem pretty damn upset about it.
Upset that developers / admins for a free site are not providing some very specific feature in the way that you want it, which is just odd. I suggest you learn to use and accept the parent feature or move on. Life is too short to get this upset about permalink vs. parent.
