I'm having an issue with being unable to upvote anyone's posts or comments. This wasn't an issue a couple hours ago when my upvotes did register properly and it has only suddenly become an issue within the last ~2 hours.
Upvote arrow turns blue, but the count does not increase.
My first thought was that this someone I tried to upvote may have very unexpected blocked me in the last couple hours.
Then I found I could not upvote anyone's comments on the page.
Thought it may have been a recurrence of that timing / connection-sync issue you've noted in the past that causes the upvote to not register, so I refreshed the page. I still could not get the upvote to register on anyone.
- I then cleared browser cache
- Hard refreshed the page
- Tried upvoting posts and comments by 6 or so other people to verify it wasn't just this one person I couldn't upvote
- Tried in two different browsers via desktop
No upvotes will register and the count stays the same for me.
I doubt this is a poal issue, but nothing changed locally for me in the past couple hours and I'm just not able to upvote anyone suddenly.
If it is not a poal issue and it is on my end, I apologize for the report and I would appreciate some recommendations for things to try to fix it please.
