Until today, going to a sub would load post sorting by /new as it is set in my options to do. Going to a sub today causes it to load into /hot instead of into /new.

Going to https://poal.co/s/antiwhite would load into https://poal.co/s/antiwhite/new as I have it set to load in my preferences.

Starting today, going to https://poal.co/s/antiwhite is causing it to load into https://poal.co/s/antiwhite/hot instead of /new as it did previously as per my preference setting.

That is, other than this /s/poaldev sub which does respect my preference setting.

I tried changing the option, saving it, then changing it back, but subs still load into /hot instead of /new for me.

Is this my misunderstanding or a bug?

EDIT: It seems some subs are loading into /hot while some others also load into /new. It seems that subs are sorting by the default method configured on the subs and the sort preference option is non-functional and the style selected by the user for post sorting is being ignored.

Since my last comment I was thinking about how to word a request for that option to describe that same functionality. I'll post it as a request tomorrow using your wording and description if nobody else reading this thread posts it first between now and when I get back on tomorrow.
