While logged in on desktop:

Whether you expand a post or collapse an expanded post before viewing the source, clicking to view the source causes the expand/collapse button to become non-functional. A page refresh is needed to return to a state where the collapse/expand buttons are again functional.

  • Click 'Source' button to view source
  • Click 'Source' to disable viewing source
  • 'Expand' button is non-functional

Or:

  • Click 'Expand' to expand the post
  • Click 'Source' to view Source
  • Click 'Source' to disable viewing source
  • 'Collapse' button is non-functional

Example post: https://poal.co/s/History/651218 (looking for an example comment that is long and needs expanding to test, but it likely affects them as well)

That’s because the js code ignores new DOM injections when you switch back from source view.

I’ll take a look at it later.

Thanks for the report.

Ah, you're welcome. Thank you for noting why that happens.

I don't think I've had any reason to try to collapse a post after viewing its source before this, or I have encountered it but I just noted it as something weird and minor and moved on.
