Edit: Had the same error when pic8 was down a while ago. This time pic8 is working good.

There are some issues with internet connectivity in Europe (DDoS traffic) that is causing time outs with different websites.

Poal throws an error when the remote host is dropping the connection before it is able to retrieve an image to generate a thumbnail.

There’s nothing we can do atm.

Our host is aware about that and will work out something.

@aou looks like OP is using a pic8 image link AND uploading an image file, at the same time. What does poal do in such a case?

Disregard the pic8 link, had that already pasted in when I took the screen shot. The error popped up with no link up there. Sorry for misleading you.

It doesn’t upload it again but checks the db for that link, and only retrieve the image if no thumbnail is found.

Nay, it happens with retrieving titles/thumbnails on other websites (vid8 included)
