Would it be possible to remove this restrictions from a subs mods and owners? I understand why this exists for regular users (diversifies sub uses, cuts down on spam etc.) but honestly, if I have a few minutes in my busy day to spam my own sub shouldn't I be allowed to do so?

Thanks for reading my blog desu.

but I could imagine that most users here don't run in /new/ but in /hot/ and wouldn't really care.

/all/new is actually the most visited endpoint.

Could you at least make the cool down period a bit shorter?

TBH 5 minutes is already short enough. It's fair for anyone who wants to share something and don't want to see their new post pushed down the new queue by someone else flooding multiple posts from the same sub.

Sliding has been used in news aggregators to turn users away from posting (faggit shills have mastered that technique) and that's exactly what is killing participation.
