It used to scale to the div width... now it seems to scale to some arbitrary size... And that size is small enough that it can be difficult to see detail. The expando is like only about twice the size of the thumbnail.

I haven't experienced (on many browsers) what you've described.

Provide me some examples (links anb screenshots)

Here is an example: https://pic8.co/sh/YaIWfC.png

Note that this happens from the main page... currently this post is on https://poal.co/all/new/7 - If I actualy go to the post itself and use the expando it opens up big like I would expect... I also just checked the same post from it's parent sub https://poal.co/s/PoliticalMemes/hot and on that page it looks fine as well...

This is maybe only an issue with /all/new/ ?

Edit: Here is the same post on https://poal.co/s/PoliticalMemes/hot where it looks fine: https://pic8.co/sh/qFLxi8.png

I can get that image to open and occupy the entire expando width in /all, in the sub or in the post itself.

There must be something wrong with your browser (maybe a 3rd party extension blocking js).

When i started writing this comment it was still happening even when I turned off all extensions... but I think you fixed it on the fly as I was investigating for you... now that come up full width.

No idea what the fuss is all about. Website is to small to see some stuff then hold ctrl and scroll wheel will magnify or reduce all graphics for me.

i expandos should open new web windows wtf @aou

That is counter to the primary use case of the expando, no? The entire point of the expando is to expand the content in the current window so that you do not have to navigate anywhere. If you want it in a new window/tab just center-click the link. Even you Windows plebs have center-click functionality in the OS... only stupid MAC users are still rocking the one button mouse.
