I don't like the auto scroll. I like to control where the post sits on my screen when I open it.

I forgot to mention I prefer to have text previews of posts in the middle of my phone screen.

Great, but I'd like to see less "Progressive image loading" to be perfectly honest. Damned progressives! Let them keep on and we'll be wearing fur and live in caves, I tell ya!

I don't like auto scroll to top. I look at the middle of my screen. Where I click. When it moves I then have to also move where I'm looking. But then I just scroll it back to the center of the screen anyway.

The goal is to avoid manually scrolling to see the image showing up half off-screen.

It might feels strange for now, but you'll get used to it.

The auto scroll should be saved for April fool's.

You could also have an auto expand and auto play function for video links on April fool's as well.
