I didn't grab the error since it's a minor thing, but even if I haven't posted or commented in a day, sometimes I'll get the error saying I'm posting too quickly. It's intermittent, no pattern to it. I only recall it happening when I comment, not when creating a new post. I don't believe I'm clicking the button twice but who knows what mice do.

Occurs in Chrome and Brave. I don't use any others regularly. No extensions, no blockers, not in incognito. No VPN. Not sure what else is helpful.

That's normal, it's an anti-spam/flood protection. When you click reply, there's a rate limit applied, so if your comment is too short, you might wanna give it a few seconds before hitting submit.

Happens to me frequently when I try to submit a comment. I just hit the submit button one or two more times and it goes through.

Happens all time on duckduckgo browser on Android gives me a 2 minutes wait time when posting to threads but not replying to comment replies and such

You have to level up to reduce the rate limit.

Not sure why it works the second time you submit immediately after

It's not immediately. It takes a few seconds to prevent spambots from flooding threads.
