Posts with multiple discussions ->> a comment thread in a post will now automatically be highlighted when you click/tap it and will remain that way until you select another one (useful for very long threads where it's easy to lose track about who replied to whom)

Is that proper for multiple frames to be highlighted? The mouse doesn't capture in print screen so that's what the red paths indicate.

That's normal. All the related comments are highlighted to show the entire thread from the root comment down to the last child where the mouse is over (or last touch event on mobile).

I should add an option in the user preferences to enable/disable for those who like it and those who don't.
