I posted comments on two different submissions last night and made some edits later. The posts for one submission are gone completely and my edits to the other post are gone.

You probably had a connection issue when you submitted the last edit and didn't notice.

If so, the issue made me see the edits reflected in the page view when I was done. It also made me see my comments to another story and then allowed me to edit them later that are totally gone now.

Make sure the "save changes" button goes away before clicking somewhere else.

If you have a slow or unstable connection it might take a little longer for your browser to submit the edit.

It's a 500 Mbit connection with no issues that I could see. 5 ms ping times everywhere nearby.

There was a post that linked to https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/hidden-black-scientists-proved-the-polio-vaccine-worked/. That's where my comments were that are gone from my history. Is that story still on Paol somewhere? I can't figure out how to search by link target.
