Infinite scroll has still no memory. It's impossible to use this function, because it doesn't remember the point where the user is reading the timeline. Can you please fix it?

This has been discussed already and it's not a bug.

That's how this feature works. When a new post is submitted it pushes the older ones below.

So have the view window shift down with it. Shouldnt be hard.

Browser's viewports are different from one another.

I'm not gonna waste my time with this non issue.

Sorry, boss, but when infinte scroll is disabled, there is memory. So it is a bug. As simple as it gets.

You've been explained how it works. Because you still don't understand it doesn't mean it's a bug.

Closed.

I turned off infinite scroll my self. The memory issue bugged me since, Voat didn't have that issue.

There's no memory issue. That's how that feature works as explained in the other comment.

Well just because it works as you made it. Doesn't mean it works for anyone you intended to use it. I get it its your site my fren. However just because it works for you doesn't mean it works for us.

Like I said VOAT had infinite scroll and memory. So I know for a fact its possible. Maybe PutItOut and Atko had more skills in the web development area.... IDK (Fuck me @AOU is going to fuck with me over that one.)

;)

I kid fren, I kid.

Voat didn't have the dynamic /New queue refreshing on the fly without reloading the page. On poal when a new post is submitted it will appear on top and push the older ones down below. That's a normal behavior handled by the browser's viewport engine.

lol Nice troll

If you're talking about when clicking on posts, middle-mouse click poal links, open external links in new tab.

There's no issue going back from a post to /all/new (with your browser's previous button) as it takes you back to the same position you left when opening a post.

Guys do it like I do: just keep checking in. I've possibly seen all the posts during past 4 months. Max 6 pages at a time
