The current block user feature was an experiment, and after a few months of live trial, @PMYB2 and I agreed on changing its behavior when necessary. So starting now, you'll need to be at least level 6 (was level 30) to be able to reply to posts/comments from users who blocked you.

Update The current block user feature was an experiment, and after a few months of live trial, @PMYB2 and I agreed on changing its behavior when necessary. So starting now, you'll need to be at least level 6 (was level 30) to be able to reply to posts/comments from users who blocked you.

It isn't that hard to reach, and will also prevent low effort trolls from using alts to flood shitcomments in posts.

Even though replying to a reply about being offtopic is offtopic, it's relevant as it's a nuanced rules question. How is replying to someone's post which is on-topic with a relevant reply considered as off-topic? For all you're trying to do to promote discussion... This seems to counter that.
