Nice to see you guys always trying to make the site better.
It seems to be giving you a chance to review your comment before posting it... like a quick pre-edit. It's good.
I always thought there should be a protocol in place to allow you to edit your comment within a minute or 2 of initially entering it without tagging your comment with (edited: xx:xx) just because you corrected the typos.
Never trust an edited comment.
There's actually a one minute window where the post doesn't get tagged as edited.
How about----When you click the red Icon,(incoming message/mail/comment reply),,,, the comment /message shows up,,,,you read it.
How about YOU TURN THE COLOR OFF FROM RED, TO GREY??? IE. you read the message BUT the damn red icon is still red.
SO, Wo is me, I have to click the button "mark as read".
IF I DON'T CLICK "Mark as read", the damn notification red icon, STAYS RED.
Added live update of the notification icon when a message is read/replied/opened.
I'll add that for the sidebar menu counts too later.
Thank you. Yet I am I replying to your comment here, and the BIG RED 1, is right there, top right corner. THE BIG RED 1 is telling me I have a message/inbox/comment/reply.
I have read the comment/reply/inbox message.
YET the icon stays RED.
I still have to click "mark all as read".
All is well, I'm just pissed at the red not turning grey/read.
Refresh your browser's caches, you must be using a previously cached javascript.

It would be great if the comment reply box could be a bit taller for mobile users. Sometimes I will be typing a message but when I scroll down to continue typing it's possible to accidentally pull down too much and reload the screen and then you lose what you've typed so far. Maybe it's just me being clumsy.
Added to the todo list. Thanks for the feedback!
Very nice, esp the quick reply!
Any chance you can make it so if you click parent, when it reloads your comment is wiped? I usually copy before, but I'm sure some people try to find the parent comment only to realize everything they typed is gone and they say fuck it and leave
That's what save as draft was designed for.
Does it do it automatically? I played with it earlier but it didn't seem to work that way
It doesn't auto-save. You must do it yourself.
You are one quick and solid developer. I don't care what Voat.xyz says about you.
E: Cheers!
Stop sucking his dick
I've been in web development for decades. He is good. I give credit where credit is due. Meh if you don't like it.
