Since several poalers asked for it, @pmyb2 and I decided to implement it.

To disable a sub (you must own or mod), go to "Edit Sub Info" in the sub's sidebar (or bottom on mobile). You'll find a new "Disable sub" button.

Once done, access to the sub and its content (posts/comments) will not be possible anymore, except in comments & posts profile of those who posted in the sub before it was disabled.

This is an example of a disabled sub: /s/Testsub

For the sake of transparency, sub log and banned users list of disabled subs are still accessible.

For example:

New features are on the way (beta-testing atm) and we'll announce them soon!

Enjoy your stay and say what you want!

Are we also able to reopen?

If not, this could become a problem child. What happens if a mod (or even an owner) gets pissed off and closes a sub. Everything ever posted there is gone, other than in folks user profile and lost somewhere in the admins historical records. Can admins reopen? Or the owner override a mod?

If something like this happens (which will probably be a rare case scenario), the mod who did it without the consent (common agreement) of the owner or other mods will get removed and the sub will be reactivated by an admin.

Sounds cool. And yes, I agree it would be rare, but the larger you grow (and you will), the more crappy stuff people pull - LOL.
