Does that encode directly to x264? Or did you have to re-encode the video you uploaded to vid8 before uploading?
(this may also depend on my machine being older and not being able to encode on the fly)

It looks like it can in the settings under "Output". I use Hardware (NVENC) for encoding.

Thanks, I got it downloaded and it looks good. Will give it a try next time I have to capture something! I like that is supports Linux and it is open. Not sure why I didn't know about this yet!
