I don't know the lingo, hopefully you get it. I tried to edit a recent showerthoughts post. I put this as an edit, then figured it belonged here instead:

@AOU remember when I said about CRs? Yeah, they don't work when editing the content of a post. Maybe that is "as intended."

Okay, they work when posted. Not during edit.

Using Waterfox at the moment.

Yeah, editing this does not format correctly. Have fun!

No, what I mean is during editing.

Do the following: make a text post on whatever subverse, write a short description. Post. Then edit the post. Try to modify the description (not title). Then click "enter" a number of times. It does not go to a newline, but does add a space character.

I mean, if that is normal, fine. But it is inconsistent with initially making a post.

I know exactly what you are talking about and that's exactly what I did on different browsers and haven't encountered that issue.

That is obviously not normal. This issue seems to be a bug with WF. So if you want to help, please provide the content (or screenshot) of the browser's console.

Here. Note that when copy the inner HTML and sticking it into a Windows text editor, the paragraphs are fine. I simply think this is a CRLF not being converted to HTML BR issue somehow, but I could be completely wrong.

Windows Text file after right-click -> Copy -> Inner HTML in console:

Check the sticky comment. It's fixed already.
