Anything like this will be abused and probably just end up making you spend more time dealing it. If you don't deal with it, the site will become more Voatish with whatever button being used to shut down free speech that the armies of shills do not like. Just my 2 cents.

I disagree. The discussion there was controlled by the shills/agents. Endless spamming of irrelevant old Joo Did Joo Thing shit, "Let's Do Something Violent And Stoopid fellow White People", etc, etc and anything current and relevant had to battle through waves of brigade downvoting just to be seen by the average user. Same thing is trying to take root here, this is why all of the massive butthurt about downvoting rules here and that sort of thing.
